The artists and designers at Big Huge Games were inspired by the Mayans and the cult classic, Chariot of the Gods by Erik von Daniken to create the mysterious third race, the Cuotl, in Rise of Legends. Here are some of the early concept pieces that show how their vision of the Cuotl evolved.
