Rise of Legends™ boasts three completely unique races that you can lead to victory. In this section, we explore the industrious Vinci, the mystic Alin, and the enigmatic Cuotl. Delve into the characters and cultures that populate the world of Rise of Legends and learn about the stories behind the game.

Buildings of the Cuotl

Strange and mysterious, the buildings of the Cuotl bear the influence of something other than human. Crafted from stone and metal, the buildings of the Cuotl pulse with potent, exotic energy generated by their Reactor Districts. By harnessing this energy, Cuotl buildings are capable of amazing, logic-defying feats, including flight, producing powerful shields, or sending out blasts of lightning to devastate the enemy. In addition to needing Timonium, the Cuotl must build powerful Reactor Districts within their cities in order to create critical Energy points.

The following buildings are available to each Cuotl player at the beginning of the game. During the course of the game, a player can spend Timonium and Wealth to upgrade the types of units produce by these buildings. The Initial Cost listed shows the price for purchasing the first building of its type—pricing increases for each additional building. The Channel Power Effect describes the building’s improvement when augmented by a Holy Ark.

Fane

Initial Cost: 135 Timonium, 15 Energy
Channel Power Effect: Units are created faster.
Fanes create Cuotl ground units, such as Sentinels, Sun Jaguars, and Death Snakes. They are capable of flying and transporting units.


Mine

Initial Cost: First Mine free, 50 Timonium for the second
Channel Power Effect: Increases Timonium gather rate.
Timonium-gathering site. Can create Miners. Mines can be upgraded to increase Timonium gather rate or allow Miners to gather Energy.


Obelisk

Initial Cost: 75 Timonium, 25 Energy
Channel Power Effect: Massively increases attack power.
Obelisks fire an energy beam that acts as a weak attack against ground and air units. When placed in close proximity of other Obelisks, a “network” is created, so that one fires with the collected strength of all other Obelisks that are within range.


Sanctuary

Initial Cost: 200 Timonium, 25 Energy (Requires: Large City, Fane)
Channel Power Effect: Units built faster. Increased National Border push and attack power.
Sanctuaries build the heavy weapons of the Cuotl arsenal, such as the Sun Cannon, Death Sphere, Sun Idol, and City of Vengeance. It expands your National Border, has a strong attack against ground units, and upgrades the power of other units.


Temple

Initial Cost: 100 Timonium, 20 Energy
Channel Power Effect: Units are created faster.
Temples create Cuotl air units, such as the Scout Eye, Quetzal Fighter, Storm Disk, and Eagle Bomber.
